| Parent -Toddler Classes |
The Nurturing Company for Young Learners has a toddler program that is
currently housed at the Chandler Community Center. We offer "Mommy
& Me" style classes for children 12 to 36 months that showcase hands-on
activities in art, science and children's literature.
FIRST ART
Toddlers and their special grown-up explore a variety of
art materials and techniques to delight their senses and
encourage self-expression. Whether making a texture
collage, a sparkling squeeze dough painting or
discovering colors and how they combine, each
petite Picasso will experience a whole new
world of creativity.
MINI EXPLORERS
Toddlers and their special grown-up will engage in exciting hands on
science activities designed to nurture the inquisitive nature of curious
toddlers. Through a variety of experiences toddlers will learn about cause
and effect, the properties of air and water, and explore the five senses.
BEGINNING WITH BOOKS
It's never too early to read to your child. Come join a
fun interactive story time with your toddler, followed
by hands-on activities related to themes in each
weeks story. Extending literature into activities helps
children develop essential skills and an appreciation
for literature.
